ABOUT ME

Growing up in Northern New Mexico I find true inspiration from the subtle hues of the desert to the profound expansiveness of the vistas. Working with clay has been a grounding force in my life. Pottery has been a part of my journey since I was a child (see bowl cut pic circa 1980’s).

During my prior career as a psychotherapist I found myself holding a container or vessel for people to work through the challenges of life.. And now I can say that same theme is woven into my pottery. I find great joy in creating containers and vessels for each of us to put what nourishes us into them. Whether it be food or flowers or dreams. My hope is these vessels will bring happiness, comfort, and a feeling of home. Each piece is handmade with care, attention to detail and over 30 years of successes and failures and the joy in knowing someone will make it a part of their everyday routines or for special occasions.
